The Miss Pole Dance competitions are the original and world wide definitive dance competitions in the genre, with contests taking place in the U.K. Europe, Hungry, America, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Canada to name a few as it truly is an International Event.

Since the Honey Club hosted the inaugural Miss Pole Dance U.K. 2005, five years ago, the pole dancing industry world wide has recognised Pole Passion and the United Kingdom as the fore-runners and superlative producers of these competitions, creating and hosting the first World Pole Sport & Fitness championships in Jamaica this year in which Felix is now crowned the world champion.

Pole Passion and Wild Life Adventure producers of Miss Pole Dance U.K. since 2005 in Brighton and 2006 at The Barracuda, Newquay once again set new president with nine consecutive weeks of competitions, the 2006 Miss Pole Dance U.K. far out-stripped all other countries competitions and was quite literally be the worlds biggest ever pole dancing festival.

2007 saw Miss Pole Dance U.K. return to Brighton and the Honey Club for the most lavish and exciting pole dance event of the year to a sell out audience of 700 people and the introduction of the synchronised doubles category.

The ethos of the U.K. contests has always been to produce the competition as an all encompassing Entertainment Event. About education and opening closed minds. It is this objective that put the U.K. head and shoulders above its European, American and global counterparts. This reputation has preceded the last years event of 2008 competition luring the world?s most famous, leading pole dancers, to dance and be part of this huge pole dance experience. L.A.?s Pantera, arguably the best pole dancer in the world, attended, entertained and danced at the event, with her jaw dropping performances. A sell out event yet again, 3 weeks prior to the event with 900 spectators.

The After-Party turned into a club night with top chart DJ?s playing until the early hours all with live wild percussion. The girls performed impromptu shows and there were many sexy surprises!
2009 Miss Pole Dance is creating yet more interest by creating a knock out style event in the afternoon of 25th October at Scala. Allowing pole performers from all over the UK to perform in a safe and non judgmental arena.
12 finalist will be judged on the main stage in the evening, battling it out once again for the most prestigious title ?Miss Pole Dance UK? path finding and setting professional standards for the expanding pole dance and fitness community to aspire to.
